Wow, I haven't visited deviantart since... well.. xD Too busy with college. And what I have missed! I love your recent drawings, specially this one. It reminds me of that performance when his string broke, even if I don't see any broken thing. Well done!

Love, it. Just a hint for future works - Kvothe plays fretless.

Fretless, you say? Now, that would be fan fiction... ;)

Original lute frets are made by cat gut and are tied around the neck. If you couldn't afford it, you could actually play without frets, the same way you play a fretless guitars for example. Pat mentions in the first book that Kvothe plays without setting frets on the lute (cause they would be further expense for him) I play on a fretless bass so it made an impression :)

Well, if Pat says: "The man had true-red hair, red as flame.", than true red, red as flame it is. :D Tnx!

Hahaha, you got that point...guess everyone thinks different about that "true" red color. :D It's red as "Blood Eagle" on Jarl Borg's back. :D

I love the atmosphere and the angular style of this piece. Also, as an earth scientist, I would totally go to a place called 'The Eolian.' :D
